May 15th, 2008: The fundraising is now over and Rodrigo raised a total of $ 5,700. That is $ 3,700 more than his initial objective of $ 2,000!!!! The money was used to finance the "Children of Peru Foundation" sponsoring of the MMFC May 2008 Cuzco mission.

April 17th 2008: Rodrigo Franco is a young Peruvian currently an MBA candidate (Class 2008) at Graduate School of Business in Stanford University. He is also studying an MPA at Kennedy School of Government in Harvard University. Before that, Rodrigo got his degree in Economics at Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru.

While doing his internship in New York in the summer of 2007, Rodrigo heard about the "Children of Peru Foundation" through a friend. He immediately became a donor as he liked the idea of helping out a new charity dedicated  to make a difference for poor kids in his country. In early 2008, he had to make a study/analysis of a non-profit for his "Non-Profit Management" course at Stanford University. We were very happy to be selected. For his study, Rodrigo has been able to speak with all our Board Members, with some of our Advisory Council Members as well as with the Directors of  the two institutions we are supporting: "Samusocial Peru" & "MMFC". He reviewed our decision-making processes, our philosophy and all the dynamics involved with our projects.

After making a USD 200 donation again in 2008, Rodrigo wanted to continue helping us by being a fundraiser for the "Children of Peru Foundation".

Rodrigo's objective is to raise USD 2,000 in California from all the people who love Peru. The money will be used by the "Children of Peru Foundation" to finance the next "MMFC" mission to Peru (Cuzco & Trujillo).
Rodrigo wants to reach his objective before beginning of May, when the missions will take place.
