I was born in Lima, Peru.
Although I spent most of my childhood and adulthood
years in New York City and in New Jersey, I still
feel a very strong connection with my roots. In the past 3 years, I have run seven half marathons but this time
around, I would like to devote this run for charity. In looking
through the many different charities, the Children of Peru
Foundation caught my eye, and feel that it would be a great
honor for me to be able to raise money to help underprivileged children with
education, healthcare, food and a warm place to live. |
