Hello, my name is Felipe Garcia Ascencio, and I'm
running the NYC Half Marathon for a great
cause: the children of Peru.
My fundraising goal: $3,500
Amount already raised: $2,872
Some background: I started running two years ago,
and ran five half marathons last year. I did not win
any of them (not even close), however I had a lot of
fun and noticed that several runners were running
for a cause. So I decided I wanted to run for
charity this year. Coming from Latin America (Mexico
City, 1971) I quickly felt identified with the
Children of Peru Foundation.
Please support me as I race the NYC Half Marathon on
March 21st, by donating to the Children of Peru
