Second Matching Funds Campaign for Manos Unidas:

January 1st, 2012: The Children of Peru Foundation is very proud to announce it is renewing its partnership started last year with Manos Unidas. This new partnership starts with a second matching funds campaign following the very successful one from July 2011.

Manos Unidas is organizing a fundraiser in Seattle, WA on January 21rst at "Q Cafe" that will include live music and a fantastic photo exhibit. Details here.

The Children of Peru Foundation is sponsoring the event and, as such, will match all donations made, on a $1 for $1 basis, up to $10,000. Donations made at the event will be matched but also ALL donations made in January 2011 through us.

We will donate one dollar for every dollar raised by Manos Unidas in this January 2012 campaign, up to $10,000.

This campaign will last 30 days, starting today & ending at the end of January 2012.

Manos Unidas is a Peruvian Non-Profit Organization founded in 2008 in Cusco, Peru. Manos Unidas created and operates the first private school for special education in Cusco. Manos Unidas provides quality education and teacher training programs for children and young adults with developmental disabilities, down syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy.
