My fundraising goal: $1,500
Total raised so far: $1,128
Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you very much for visiting this page.
On March 18, I will be running in the NYC Half Marathon.
It will be my first time running for a charity.
I chose the Children of Peru Foundation because we
visited Peru 5 years ago with my husband Josh and our
son Miles who was almost 2 at the time. We fell in love
with the country's landscapes, extraordinary culture,
and the kindness of all the people we met. We also
realized there was a lot we could do to improve the life
of Peruvian children, particularly starting with basics
such as health and education.

The Children of Peru Foundation is an organization which
provides funding for programs run by local
non-governmental organizations. Programs include helping
kids with disabilities get access to specialized
education; providing immediate medical assistance as
well as surgeries to children whose families would not
other be able to afford the cost of care otherwise;
fighting diseases such as tuberculosis which have almost
been eradicated in the Western hemisphere but still kill
children every year in Peru.
You can help support not only my 2012 resolution to run
more miles and at a faster pace, but most importantly a
truly great cause. My objective is to raise $1,500. No
donation is too small, and donations are 100% tax
deductible in the US as the Children of Peru Foundation
has a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Your employer may
also have a generous matching gift program which could
double your donation.
There are two ways to donate:
1. Paypal - use the donate button below for an
easy and secure online donation
2. Check - you can
send a USD check payable to Children of Peru
Foundation with "Deborah Kross" written
on the memo line to:
Children of Peru Foundation
340 East 64th St. Suite 2G, New York, NY 10065
A list of the donations will be displayed on this
website as the Children of Peru Foundation receives
them.
Thank you so much for your support!
